Why UK camps

All the services you need for optimised individual performance — under one roof.

Most athletes assemble their support team piecemeal — a physio here, a nutritionist there, a lactate test booked months in advance. LSB's UK camps bring coaching, physiotherapy, biomechanics, nutrition and lab testing together into a single weekend, delivered by a coordinated team who talk to each other about your training, not just their own specialism.

And because it's on home ground, it doesn't come at the cost of a proper adventure. Genuinely demanding fell terrain, a fantastic base to come back to each evening, and a group of people who take their training as seriously as you do.

  • No flights, no long lead time — easy to get to from anywhere in the UK
  • Every 1:1 service you'd otherwise book separately, delivered by one coordinated team
  • Repeatable through the year — build a rhythm of camps into your season
  • Serious trail and hill running on genuinely demanding terrain
  • A proper weekend away, not just a training block

Building through 2027

Six-plus camps a year

The Runner's MOT launches in November 2026 as a pilot, with the UK calendar building out to six or more camps a year from 2027 — spread across March, April, June, October and November. Each edition carries a slightly different flavour depending on time of year, without narrowing the weekend to one single focus.

March

Spring edition

Timed for athletes building toward spring marathons and early-season targets.

April

Pre-season edition

Trail and hill-focused, ideal timing ahead of the summer racing season.

June

Summer edition

Longer daylight, bigger hill days — a full weekend of Lake District terrain.

23–26 Oct 2026

Assent Performance Camp

A dedicated edition for Assent Performance's coached athletes, run to the same Runner's MOT format.

13–16 Nov 2026

Launch Camp

The pilot edition that starts it all — the first Runner's MOT, at Burnhow Garden Hotel, Bowness.
